This report is the seventh edition of the ammonia market research in the CIS countries.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian and CIS markets for ammonia markets.

The object of the study is anhydrous ammonia.

The presented work is a desk study. The UN databases (UNdate), the Statistical Committees of the CIS countries (including Rosstat, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, the Agency for Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan), the customs statistics of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the official statistics of rail transport of the Russian Federation were used as sources of information; materials of the branch and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, Internet sites of manufacturing enterprises and sulfur consumers, as well as the Infomain database.

Chronological framework of the study: 1996-2016; forecast - 2017-2030

Geography of the study: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis; the world and the CIS countries - a general retrospective analysis of the market.

 

The report consists of 7 parts, contains 210 pages, including 75 tables, 64 figures and 2 applications.

The first chapter presents a brief description of the world market of ammonia for the period 1995-2017, as well as the prospects for its development.

The second chapter provides information on the technology used in industry for the production of ammonia, the main type of raw materials (natural gas) and the directions of its supply to the CIS.

The third chapter of this review is devoted to the production of ammonia in the CIS in 1997-2017. In particular, this chapter describes the current status of the main ammonia manufacturing enterprises in the CIS countries.

The fourth and fifth chapters contain information on export-import transactions with ammonia in Russia and Ukraine in 1999-2017 and the price level for this product.

The sixth chapter describes the market of ammonia consumption in Russia and Ukraine. Here the structure of chemical consumption, the "production-consumption" balance, is analyzed in detail. A review of the main branches of ammonia consumption is presented, as well as a description of the largest consumer enterprises of this product.

The seventh chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian ammonia market for the period up to 2030.

The appendix contains addresses and contact information of companies producing ammonia in Russia and CIS countries, as well as the main Russian consumers of the product.
