This report is the twelfth edition of the Sodium Sulphate Market Research in the CIS.

The market has been monitored since 2002.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian and CIS markets for sodium sulfate.

The object of research is sodium sulfate.

The presented work is a desk study. Databases of the UN (UNdata), Statistical Committees of the CIS countries (including Rosstat, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the Agency on Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan), customs statistics of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, official statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation were used as sources of information; materials from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, Internet sites of enterprises-producers and consumers of sulfuric acid, as well as the InfoMine database.

Chronological scope of the study: 2000-1 half of 2020; forecast - 2020-2025

Research geography: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis; Ukraine, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Belarus and other CIS countries - general retrospective market analysis.

 

The report consists of 6 Sections, contains 135 pages, including 51 tables, 32 figures and 2 appendices.

The first chapter of the report provides information on the existing technologies for the production of sodium sulfate, their features, required for the production of raw materials.

The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of sodium sulfate production for the period 2000-2019. in the CIS. This section contains the requirements of the existing regulatory and technical documentation for the quality of sodium sulfate, statistics of the production of these products, the regional structure of production is assessed, and the main producers of sodium sulfate are described.

The third chapter analyzes foreign trade operations with sodium sulfate in Russia, Ukraine and the CIS. The data on the volumes of export and import of the studied products are given, the regional structure of supplies is estimated.

The fourth chapter provides information on the level of prices for sodium sulfate in the domestic Russian market, as well as analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for these products.

In the fifth chapter of the report, the balance of production and consumption of sodium sulfate in Russia is given, the sectoral structure of consumption of the studied products is assessed, the factors determining the demand for sodium sulfate in the domestic market are analyzed, the main industries and consumers of sodium sulfate are described.

The sixth chapter of the report is devoted to the forecast of the development of production and consumption of sodium sulfate in the CIS for the period up to 2025.

The appendices provide addresses and contact information for the main manufacturers and consumers of sodium sulfate, as well as in-plant sodium sulfate consumption by manufacturers.
