This report is the first edition of a study of the market for metal powders and granules based on cobalt and its alloys in the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the cobalt powder market.
The object of research is powders and granules made of cobalt and its alloys.
This work is a desk research. Data from the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (Rosstat), railway transport statistics of the Russian Federation, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, the UN database (UNdata), and the Infomine database were used as information sources. Data from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, and enterprise websites were also involved.
Chronological scope of the study: 2010-1st 2023.
Geography of research: Russian Federation.
Scope of the study: the report consists of 6 parts, contains 147 pages, including 22 tables, 19 figures and 5 appendices.
The first chapter of the report provides data on the production of cobalt powders in the Russian Federation in 2020-2022, an assessment of their production volumes, and a review of manufacturing enterprises.
The second chapter of the report provides data on import foreign trade operations of the Russian Federation with cobalt powders (2010-1st half of 2023). The main foreign suppliers of these products to the Russian Federation and key Russian importing companies are presented.
The third chapter of the report is devoted to the export of cobalt powders from the Russian Federation (2010-1st 2023). The supplies of key Russian companies and their foreign partners are analyzed.
The fourth chapter of the report provides an overview of the pricing environment for cobalt powders. This section of the report provides data on export-import prices both by areas of application and brands of cobalt powders, and by the main foreign suppliers of these products. In addition, part of the chapter is devoted to the analysis of purchase prices as a result of tenders and competitions.
The fifth chapter of the report provides an analysis of the consumption of cobalt powders in the Russian Federation in 2020-2022, shows the structure of consumption, describes the main areas of use and the main consumer companies.
The final, sixth chapter of the report provides a forecast for the consumption of cobalt powders for the period up to 2030.
The appendices provide data on the export-import of cobalt powders in 2010-1st 2023. and tenders for the purchase of cobalt powders in 2017-10 months. 2023, as well as contact information of manufacturers and consumers of cobalt powders in the Russian Federation.
Target audience of the study:
- powder metallurgy market participants – manufacturers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for marketing services and specialists making management decisions in the powder metallurgy market.
