This report is the eighth edition of the study of the ammonia market in Russia, the CIS countries and the world.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the ammonia markets of the world, Russian and CIS countries.

The object of study is anhydrous ammonia.

This work is a desk study. The databases of the UN (UNdate), the Statistical Committees of the CIS countries (including Rosstat, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan), customs statistics of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, official statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation were used as sources of information; materials of industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, websites of sulfur producers and consumers, as well as the Infomine database.

Chronological scope of the study: 1996-2021; forecast - 2022-2030

Research geography: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis; the world and the CIS countries - a general retrospective analysis of the market.

The report consists of 7 parts, contains 213 pages, including 76 tables, 63 figures and 2 appendices.

The first chapter provides a brief description of the global ammonia market for the period 1995-2021, as well as the prospects for its development.

The second chapter provides information about the ammonia production technology used in industry, the main type of raw material (natural gas) and the directions of its supply to the CIS.

The third chapter of this review is devoted to the production of ammonia in the CIS in 1997-2021. In particular, this chapter provides a description of the current state of the main ammonia producers in the CIS countries.

The fourth and fifth chapters contain information on export-import operations with ammonia in the Russian Federation and Ukraine in 1999-2021. and the price level for this product.

The sixth chapter describes the ammonia consumption market in Russia and Ukraine. It analyzes in detail the structure of chemical consumption, the "production-consumption" balance. An overview of the main branches of ammonia consumption is given, as well as a description of the largest consumer enterprises of this product.

The seventh chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian ammonia market for the period up to 2030.

The appendix contains the addresses and contact information of enterprises producing ammonia in Russia and the CIS countries, as well as the main Russian consumers of the product.

Target audience of the study:

- participants of the ammonia market - producers, consumers, traders;

- potential investors.

The proposed study purports to be a reference tool for marketing and decision makers working in the ammonia market.
