This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.

This report is the seventh edition of a market study for synthetic silicon dioxide (precipitated - silica white and pyrogenic - aerosil) in the CIS countries.

The market has been monitored since 1999.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the market for synthetic silicon dioxide in Russia and the CIS countries.

A distinctive feature of this report is that it provides a detailed analysis of the white carbon and aerosil market, which avoids mistakes made by the authors of similar studies carried out by other companies.

According to the existing nomenclature of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, pyrogenic and precipitated silicon dioxide are present in positions 281122, which is collectively called "Silicon Dioxide", which also contains other products from this category (silica gel, microsilica, etc.).

The report presents reliable data on the products that are the object of this study, obtained through manual sampling for the entire item 281122.

The object of research is synthetic silicon dioxide (precipitated and pyrogenic)

This work is a desk study. The sources of information were the data of the Federal Service of State Statistics of the Russian Federation (Rosstat), the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS of the Russian Federation), statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation, the State Customs Service of Ukraine; UNdata databases and InfoMine database. Materials from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, conference materials, as well as the websites of silicon dioxide manufacturers were involved.

Chronological scope of the study: 1999-2020; preliminary data - 2021; forecast - 2022-2030

Geography of research: Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus - a comprehensive, detailed analysis of the market.

The report consists of 7 Sections, contains 112 pages, including 18 Figures, 43 Tables and 2 Appendices.

The first chapter of the report provides information on the technologies for the production of precipitated and pyrogenic silicon dioxide and the raw materials required for production.

The second chapter of the review is devoted to the analysis of the production of synthetic silicon dioxide in the CIS. This chapter contains the requirements of the existing regulatory and technical documentation for the quality of silicon dioxide, statistics of the production of this product in 1999-2020. The chapter contains descriptions of the current state of enterprises producing synthetic silica in the CIS (operating and discontinued production of this reagent).

The third chapter is devoted to the analysis of foreign trade operations with silicon dioxide in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The data on the volumes of export and import of the studied products are given, the regional structure of supplies is estimated.

The fourth chapter provides information on the current prices of silicon dioxide producers in the CIS, as well as analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for products in Russia and Ukraine.

The fifth chapter of the report presents the balance of production and consumption of silicon dioxide in Russia, assesses the sectoral structure of consumption of the studied products, analyzes the factors that determine the demand for silicon dioxide in the domestic market, describes the main consumer industries and consumer enterprises.

The sixth chapter of the report examines the consumption of synthetic silicon dioxide in Ukraine and Belarus. This section shows the balance of production-consumption of these products.

The seventh chapter of the report gives a forecast of the development of the Russian market for synthetic silicon dioxide for the period up to 2030.

The appendices contain the address and contact information of the main enterprises producing and consuming synthetic silicon dioxide in the CIS countries.

Target audience of the study:

- market participants for synthetic silicon dioxide and products based on it (tires, toothpastes, etc.) - manufacturers, consumers, traders;

- potential investors.

The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for marketing services and decision-makers working in the silicon dioxide market.
