This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.
This report is the fifth edition of the ferrosilicon market research in Russia, the CIS and the world.
Market monitoring has been carried out since 2006.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the ferrosilicon market in Russia and the CIS countries.
The object of study is ferrosilicon.
This work is a desk research. Data from Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, and statistics of railway transportation in the Russian Federation were used as sources of information; Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Statistics Service and State Customs Service of Ukraine and statistical committees of other CIS countries, data from the US State Geological Survey (USGS), the UNdata database, industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, as well as Internet sites of ferrosilicon producers were used.
Chronological scope of the study: 1999-2023, assessment 2024, forecast until 2030.
Geography of the study: Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kazakhstan – comprehensive detailed market analysis; rest of the world - general information about market dynamics and characteristics.
The report consists of 8 parts, contains 101 pages, including 35 tables, 30 figures and 1 appendix.
The first chapter of the report provides a brief description of the global ferrosilicon market.
The second chapter provides data on reserves and deposits of the main types of raw materials for the production of ferrosilicon in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
The third chapter describes the quality requirements for ferrosilicon and the technology of its production in the CIS.
The fourth chapter of the report is devoted to an analysis of ferrosilicon production in the CIS in 1999-2023. The chapter describes the quality requirements for ferrosilicon, its production technology, and analyzes the current state of the main manufacturers in the CIS. The chapter provides data on the volumes of ferrosilicon production in the CIS and individual countries, information on the state of the main ferroalloy enterprises.
The fifth chapter analyzes foreign trade in ferrosilicon by CIS countries. The main directions of ferrosilicon export from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, as well as the main suppliers of this alloy in the CIS, are identified.
The sixth chapter of the report provides data on the dynamics of domestic and export-import prices for ferrosilicon in Russia in 2000-2023.
The seventh chapter provides an assessment of ferrosilicon consumption in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
In the eighth chapter, a forecast for the production and consumption of ferrosilicon in Russia for the period up to 2030 has been prepared.
The appendix provides contact information for the main ferrosilicon producers in the CIS.
Target audience of the study:
- ferroalloy market participants – producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study purports to be a reference guide for marketing services and specialists making management decisions working in the market of ferrosilicon and other ferroalloys.
