This report is the 4th edition of the study of the Russian coal tar market.
The purpose of the research is to analyze the coal tar market.
The object of the research is coal tar, the report also touches upon the market of coal tar pitch and carbon black.
This work is a desk study. The sources of information were data from the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (Rosstat), statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, the UN database (UNdata), and the Infomine database. Also involved were data from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, websites of companies producing pitch.
Chronological scope of the study: 1998-2020; forecast - up to 2030
Geography of research: the market of the Russian Federation.
Research volume: the report consists of 6 parts, contains 58 pages, including 17 tables, 19 figures and 1 appendix.
The first chapter of the report provides information on the technology of production and processing of coal tar. Also in this chapter, the state of coke production in Russia is considered, an analysis of the supply of coking coal to Russian enterprises is given.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to the production of coal tar in Russia in 1999-2020. This section of the report provides statistics on resin production at Russian enterprises. Part of the chapter is devoted to an overview of the main producers of coal tar in Russia (production dynamics, consumers, export activity), 7 enterprises are considered.
The third chapter is devoted to the analysis of foreign trade operations with coal tar in Russia in 1999-2020. At the same time, statistics of export-import, directions and volumes of supplies, including the main exporters and importers, are presented.
The fourth chapter provides information on export and import prices for products in Russia in 1999-2020.
The fifth chapter of the report examines the consumption of coal tar in Russia. This section gives the balance of production and consumption of these products in Russia (1999-2020), the structure of consumption of the product in Russia. The main consumers and directions of use of this product in Russia are also given.
The sixth chapter provides a forecast of the production and consumption of resin in Russia for the period up to 2030.
The appendix contains contact information for producers and consumers of coal tar in Russia.
Target audience of the study:
- market participants of coke-chemical products - producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference manual for marketing services and specialists making management decisions in the coke-chemical products market.
