This report is the third edition of the ammonium sulfate market research in Russia and the world.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the ammonium sulfate market.
The object of study is ammonium sulfate.
This work is a desk research. The statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan) were used as sources of information; UN international databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); Unified information system in the field of procurement; railway transport statistics; VLSI databases; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers; industry and regional press, conference materials, Internet sites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of the products under study; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), FIPS patent database; Infomine database, etc.
Chronological scope of the study: 2015-2023; forecast – 2024-2030
Geography of the study: world market - brief analysis, Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis.
A distinctive feature of this review is the presence of a brief overview of the world market, as well as a detailed study of the Russian ammonium sulfate market, broken down by methods of its production (product obtained by direct synthesis from ammonia and sulfuric acid; from caprolactam production waste; from ammonia from coke oven gases of metallurgical industries, etc. .). In addition, the production sector of compacted and granular ammonium sulfate is examined in detail.
The forecast takes into account the market situation that may arise as a result of Russia conducting a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine.
The report consists of 7 parts, contains 100 pages, including 29 figures, 33 tables and 2 appendices.
The first chapter provides a brief overview of the global ammonium sulfate market 2009-2022.
The second chapter provides information about existing technologies for the production of ammonium sulfate, their features, and the raw materials required for production. The directions of supply of raw materials are also considered.
The third chapter is devoted to the production of ammonium sulfate in Russia in 2015-2023. Here the requirements of existing regulatory and technical documentation for the quality of ammonium sulfate are presented, the capacities of Russian enterprises for its production, production statistics of the products in question (including by production method, by manufacturing enterprises) are given. The current state of the largest producers of commercial ammonium sulfate and enterprises for its compaction and granulation is also described.
The fourth chapter of the report provides data on Russia’s foreign trade operations with ammonium sulfate in 2015-2023.
The fifth chapter analyzes information on the price level for ammonium sulfate on the domestic market in 2015-2024, as well as data on changes in export-import prices in 2015-2023.
The sixth chapter examines the consumption of ammonium sulfate in Russia in 2015-2023. The balance of production and consumption of a commercial product, the sectoral and regional structure of its consumption are given. The current state and prospects for the development of the main consuming industries are also described.
The seventh chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian ammonium sulfate market for the period until 2030, as well as current projects to create new production facilities.
The appendices provide the addresses and contact information of the main Russian enterprises producing commercial ammonium sulfate, as well as plants for its compaction and granulation.
Target audience of the study:
- ammonium sulfate market participants – producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study purports to be a reference guide for marketing services and management decision-makers working in the ammonium sulfate market.
