This report is the second edition of the study of the ammonium nitrate market in Russia and CIS countries.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the markets for ammonium nitrate, Russian and CIS countries.

The object of research is ammonium nitrate.

This work is a desk study. The databases of the UN (UNdate), the Statistical Committees of the CIS countries (including Rosstat, the SSC of Ukraine, the Agency on Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan), customs statistics of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, official statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation were used as sources of information; materials of industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, websites of sulfur producers and consumers, as well as the Infomine database.

Timeframe of the study: 1995-2021, estimate 2022, forecast - 2023-2030.

Research geography: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis; CIS countries – general retrospective analysis of the market.

 

The report consists of 6 parts, contains 104 pages, including 42 tables, 32 figures and an appendix.

The first chapter of the report provides information about the raw materials required for the production of ammonium nitrate, its characteristics. Also in this chapter, the technology for the production of ammonium nitrate is considered in detail. In addition, data on the main suppliers of raw materials, directions and volumes of supplies are given.

The second chapter of the report is devoted to the production of ammonium nitrate in Russia and the CIS countries. This section of the report provides statistical and estimated data on ammonium nitrate output in Russia (1995-2022), Ukraine (1999-2021) and other CIS countries. In addition, the quality indicators of the products obtained are given.

The third chapter of the report provides data on foreign trade operations with ammonium nitrate in Russia for the period 1997-2022, in Ukraine for the period 1999-2021. and in other CIS countries in 2007-2021.

The fourth chapter provides information on the level of prices for ammonium nitrate in the domestic Russian market in 2013–2022, and also analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for these products in Russia from 1997 to 2021 and in other CIS countries since 2007 and up to 2021

The fifth chapter of the report examines the consumption of ammonium nitrate in Russia from 1997 to 6 months of 2002. This section presents the production-consumption balance of this product, the sectoral consumption structure, describes the current state of the main industries consuming ammonium nitrate, the current state and development prospects of the largest consumer enterprises.

The sixth chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian ammonium nitrate market for the period up to 2030

The appendix contains the addresses and contact information of enterprises producing ammonium nitrate in Russia and the CIS countries.
