This report focuses on the investigation of the Russian market of technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide and forecast of its development in conditions of the financial crisis for the period up to 2015. The report consists of 6 chapters, contains 177 pages including 17 figures, 35 tables and two annexes.
In general, the work can be described as a desk study, but a number of telephone interviews was carried out with representatives of Russian enterprises participating in the market.
As information sources, data obtained during the telephone interview, as well as data of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, specialized magazines, Internet sites, companies, and database of "InfoMine" were used.
The first chapter of the report provides an overview of the world's manufacturers of technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide, their range and quality of the products. It shows the basic "drivers" of the world market of this product.
In the second chapter of the report data on sources of raw materials for the production of technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide are presented, as well as the characteristics of raw materials from different manufacturers.
The third chapter describes the various production technologies for products from technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide.
The fourth chapter is devoted to production of technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide in Russia. This chapter provides data on available facilities on production of this product in the country. Also it provides information on the leading Russian manufacturers of zirconium ceramics, including data on existing facilities, suppliers of raw materials, product range and quality of the products, plans for enterprise development.
The fifth chapter provides an analysis of foreign trade in technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide by major commodity groups. Data on volumes of imports and exports of the products in kind and in money terms for the period of 2002-2010 are given, and regional pattern of supply is estimated; besides, the chapter described the leading suppliers of zirconium ceramics in the Russian market.
The sixth chapter is devoted to analysis of consumption of technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide in Russia. In this section we give an estimate of volumes of consumption of the products in the country and show the sectoral structure of its application.
In the seventh, final chapter of the report forecast of development of Russian market of technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide for the period up to 2015 is presented.
Annex 1 shows the contact details of the Russian manufacturers of zirconium ceramics.
Annex 2 presents data on the main Russian consumers of technical ceramics based on zirconium dioxide and the volumes of its consumption in 2006-2010.
