This review is the first edition of a study of the magnesium sulfate market in Russia, the EAEU countries and the world.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the magnesium sulfate market and forecast its development for the period up to 2030.

The object of study is magnesium sulfate (magnesium sulfate 7-water, magnesium sulfate 1-water).

The chronological framework of the study is 2018-2022, the forecast is 2024-2030.

Research geography: Russia, EAEU countries, other countries of the world.

 

This work is mainly a desk study. As sources of information, data from the State Balances of Mineral Reserves of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (Rosstat), data from customs statistics of the Russian Federation, the UNdata database, the Trade Map database, and the Infomine database of railway traffic statistics of the Russian Federation were used. Also, data from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, and websites of enterprises producing magnesium sulfate were involved.

 

The report consists of 8 chapters, contains 76 pages, 16 figures, 25 tables and 1 Appendix.

The first chapter of the report provides a brief overview of the global magnesium sulfate market. It presents data on the volume of the world reagent market and its development trends, on the volumes and main directions of foreign trade operations, on the dynamics of world export prices for magnesium sulfate.

The second chapter provides data on the existing technologies for the production of magnesium sulfate, on the Russian reserves of magnesia raw materials, on Russian producers of raw materials for the production of magnesium sulfate.

The third chapter analyzes the production of the investigated chemical in Russia in 2018-2022. It contains statistical data on the volume of production of this product. In addition, the chapter contains requirements for the quality of the product.

The fourth chapter of the report is devoted to the analysis of the current state and prospects of the operating enterprises producing magnesium sulfate. Data on projects for the creation of new production facilities are presented

The fifth chapter provides statistical data on export-import operations with magnesium sulfate in 2018-2022.

The sixth chapter is devoted to the analysis of the dynamics of export-import prices for magnesium sulfate in Russia and the EAEU countries.

The seventh chapter is devoted to the consumption of magnesium sulfate in 2018-2022. It provides data on the consumption volumes in Russia and the EAEU countries, presents an estimated structure of the sectoral consumption of magnesium sulfate in Russia.

The eighth and final chapter presents a forecast for the development of the magnesium sulfate market until 2030.

The Appendix contains contact information for manufacturers and consumers of magnesium sulfate.
