This report is the third edition of the study of the copper concentrates and copper metal market in the CIS countries (Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Transcaucasia).
The purpose of the study is to analyze the market for copper concentrates and copper.
The objects of research are copper concentrate and refined copper.
This work is a desk research. Data from UNdata, the State Committee on Statistics of the CIS countries, the Agency for Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, industry and regional press, enterprise reports, websites of copper producing and consuming enterprises, scientific and technical literature, and the Infomine database were used as information sources.
Main chronological framework of the study: 2013-2023, forecast until 2030.
Geography of research: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia
Scope of the study: the report consists of 7 parts, contains 51 pages, including 21 tables, 15 figures, 1 appendix.
The first chapter presents the copper mineral resource base (reserves, deposits) of the CIS countries - Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Transcaucasia.
The second chapter provides data on the production of copper in concentrate in the above countries in 2013-2023, and examines the main producing companies.
The third chapter is devoted to a review of the export-import of copper concentrates in 2013-2023. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia.
The fourth chapter is devoted to the production of refined copper in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in 2013-2023. The production dynamics of the main manufacturers and a description of the companies are presented.
The fifth chapter of the review provides data on the export-import of refined copper in the countries under consideration (2013-2023). The dynamics of supply volumes and geographical structure are presented.
The sixth chapter is devoted to copper consumption in these countries. The balance of copper production and consumption in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in 2013-2023 is presented.
The seventh chapter provides a forecast for the production of refined copper in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan until 2030.
The appendix provides addresses and contact information of the main participants in the market of copper concentrates and copper in the CIS countries - Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Transcaucasia.
Target audience of the study:
- copper market participants – producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for marketing services and specialists making management decisions working in the copper market of the CIS countries.
