The following sources of information were used: data from statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international databases of the UN (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (through 2022); the Unified Information System in Procurement; Rail transportation statistics; the SBiS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers; industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of manufacturers and consumers of the products under study; scientific and technical literature (e.g., elibrary), the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
The report consists of 8 chapters and contains 82 pages, including 24 figures, 15 tables, and 2 appendices.
The first chapter of the report provides a brief overview of the global acrylonitrile market. It provides data on market capacity, the main regions of acrylonitrile production and consumption, and the volumes and directions of trade flows. This chapter also provides information on the world's leading acrylonitrile manufacturers, their production capacities, and new acrylonitrile production projects.
Chapter two provides information on acrylonitrile production technologies, characterizing the main types of raw materials used and their production volumes in Russia and the EAEU, as well as trade flows.
Chapter three of the report presents the quality requirements for manufactured acrylonitrile.
Chapter four of this review is devoted to acrylonitrile production in the EAEU from 2008 to 2025. It provides information on acrylonitrile producers, characterizing their current status, providing data on output dynamics, and ongoing acrylonitrile production projects.
Chapter five contains information on foreign trade transactions involving acrylonitrile in Russia from 2007 to 2024. It analyzes the dynamics and directions of acrylonitrile exports and imports, identifying the main exporters and importers of acrylonitrile.
Chapter six of the report examines the dynamics of acrylonitrile export and import prices in Russia from 2007 to 2024, and also provides data on the domestic price of acrylonitrile.
Chapter seven of the report is devoted to acrylonitrile consumption in Russia, presenting the production-consumption balance of this product, identifying the industry structure of consumption, and identifying the main consumers of acrylonitrile.
Chapter eight of the report presents a forecast for the development of the Russian acrylonitrile market through 2030.
The Appendices provide the addresses and contact information of companies producing acrylonitrile in the EAEU, as well as the main Russian consumers of this product.
